This is a book cover I made for the University of Illinois Press. The cover is one in a series, so the design had to be flexible and easy to update for future books. The background image is actually composed of two typefaces, so additional volumes in the series would have different type as well as different colors.

This is a fifty page book I wrote and designed for a class project. It chronicles my time in Brussels with a cartography and guidebook inspired design.

Book cover for Lonesome Cowgirls and Honky-Tonk Angels for the University of Illinois Press. I worked with a provided photo and later a colorized version of the same photo.

Typography project designing spreads for an architecture article, The Eyes of the Skin. All images are hand-made with spray paint, markers, letraset and other tools. Formal and strict elements cover more organic imagery to communicate the overall concept of the article.
